‘Pop-up Consumer Tasting event at The Square, Tallaght’

The Synergy Centre 2015 Summer programme includes ten graduates with their ‘innovative and highly nutritious food products’ all of whom featured in our ‘pop-up food tasting stand’ at The Square Shopping Centre Tallaght.

The reaction from Shoppers at The Square to these innovative food products was fantastic. The surprise visit by Senator Feargal Quinn, founder of Superquinn, who thoroughly enjoyed sampling the products and talking with these graduates, was a real bonus. These graduates are testing the market as part of their research and development as they explore the opportunity to set up their own ‘food businesses’.  The feedback, knowledge and experience from Senator Quinn was greatly appreciated, as was all the feedback received from the many shoppers who participated at this ‘tasting event’.  

The products on offer included;

Green Cheek – whey high-protein granola,
Aráin Atlantaigh – dillisk spelt breads,
Lime Leaf – dairy free ice-cream, and
Crown Height Food – gluten-free sweet potato pizza base
